Deborah has been with D&D Rail Ltd since 1996, developing from a Trainee Surveyor to Project Surveyor and then to Commercial Manager within the company before moving into her current role in 2014. Deborah holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Quantity Surveying.
Deborah has gained an in-depth experience across a wide variety of projects and contract values. Her commitment to each project ensures effective communication & drive from tender stage through to final account agreements and her enthusiasm for her work is apparent throughout. Deborah is committed to meeting client and contract requirements at all stages of the construction process to ensure deadlines are met.
Deborah is responsible for general office functions and fulfils the role of Quality Manager, and is therefore responsible for the development, maintenance and implementation of the quality system and for ensuring all quality objectives are met.
Deborah assists with tender returns and is responsible for the maintenance of all company accreditations including RISQS, ISO 9001:2015, CHAS, Safecontractor, FIRAS, FORS and ICATS.
During Deborah’s Surveying training she won the Daily Mirror Modern Apprentice of the year award. The Daily Mirror received in excess of 10,000 applicants for this nomination.
