D & D Rail Ltd completed the design & build project at Heathrow 123 LUL Station. The SFA and Ambiance Project at Heathrow 123 LUL Station required a refit of the old British Transport Police accommodation. This accommodation was to be brought up to the required LUL standard to enable it to be brought into use as a new Group Station Manager (GSM) Suite.
The new GSM Suite comprised of offices and associated rooms as well as the re-modelling of the plant room which services the Suite to accommodate a new Air Handling Unit.
Disciplines included civils, premises, fire, mechanical, electrical and comms.
The Project also included the remodelling of the plant room to service the Suite and accommodate a new Air Handling Unit.
Works included demolition of the existing office complex layout to suit the change of use, construction of new walls, finishes including plastering, tiling, painting, new suspended ceilings and flooring. Replacement doorsets and reconfiguration of plumbing to suit new toilet and kitchen facilities.
We also completed the fire compartmentation package for the existing area to ensure full compliance with current LU regulations.
