Project: Slalom Hoop Barriers

Due to the station subway being accessed by the public 24/7, motorised and mechanical vehicles have been used within the subway.  Concerns for health and safety have been raised, and DDR were asked to install 3No. Slalom Hoop Barriers on the university side of the subway to stop the use of these vehicles being used.

Core holes were drilled and set out as per the CDS, and the Slalom Hoop Barriers were then placed into the correct position and core holes were filled with Parex for them to be set in.  To finish the installation the High Visibility Tape was placed 150mm down from the top barrier on each leg.
