Our task was to remove existing finishes and make good all areas to the lower concourse and the escalator barrel on both sides.

We then applied two coats of Tikkurila LUJA paint and a top coat of Tikkurila Lacquer to the escalator barrel and lower concourse.  Each shift the escalators had to be protected with special attention paid for protection of each of the heritage uplighters.

The purpose of this was to create a more reflective surface for the uplighters running down the length of the escalator to improve the overall Lux levels in this area.
