Project: St. Paul’s Station – Machine Chamber Works

Our task was to clean the Upper & Lower Machine Chambers walls & floors to a height of 1.8m for escalators 4 & 5 and then subsequently paint handrails and staircase nosings, including treads & risers of the engineering steps, and clean out gullies. These works include scraping loose flaky paint off walls & floors and cleaning with degreaser. All floors where painted red with Sigma Cover 2 and steps and plinths had a strip of 55 x 55mm with LFP Line marking paint on nosings.

Works to the above areas were undertaken during Extended Engineering Hours / Engineering Hours.

LUL approved materials were utilised throughout these works.
