Project: Tottenham Hale Station – Provision of Welfare, Secure Compound Area & Escalator Scaffold Access

As part of the escalator upgrade works at Tottenham Hale Station, welfare and secure compound area was temporary installed (Complete with running water and drainage outlet) for site usage during the replacement of Escalator 1.  All items were then removed at the end of the project and area handed back to LUL.

During installation and removal of welfare cabins, close liaison was required with both LUL & TFL as the bus gyratory which contains stops was temporarily closed with the late night bus routes diverted whilst the crane was set into position and undertook the lifting process.

Temporary access scaffold was provided within the incline of Escalator 1 once the existing escalator was removed to clean and maintain the structure ready to receive new.
