This project was to re-open Platform 20 of Waterloo station for the use of “domestic” services with access / egress via platform 19.  This was achieved by forming two openings through the dividing wall between Platforms 19 and 20.  One opening nearest the buffer stops have steps to address the difference in Platform levels (approx.900mm).  The other opening have steps and a ramp.
